Best Star Power and Gadgets for Rico (AND MORE)

Description: 😊😊😊Rico has great Gadgets and Star Powers but some are better than the other. That's why I am making this build; to help you with your choices as a Rico main (in the present or future). In some game modes, some Gadgets/Star Powers would be different (not always though) but if you don't want to switch your build or you are doing Mega Pig/Ranked, then this is what you should use.Gadget, Multiball Launcher:Both of Rico's Gadgets are really good but Multiball Launcher stands out. It shoots waves of bullets in every direction. If you die easily, then use the other gadget, Bouncy Castle but after you know what you are doing with Rico, then use Multiball Launcher. Multiball Launcher is useful when there is a lot of grass because it can help you find the opponent's hiding spot (if they are hiding in the grass). Use it when you are in trouble to get them low, then finish them off. DO NOT GET NEAR SHORT-RANGED BRAWLERS THOUGH; then they will get the advantage which is really bad for you because you get countered by them easily So overall, Multiball Launcher is the better Gadget for Rico because of its capabilities and potential.Star Power, Robo Retreat:Robo Retreat makes you 34% faster but you have to be below 40% hp. You have to use this strategically because if you want to get faster but an opponent's kills you after you get to 40%, then you would have wasted sometime doing nothing. I know Super Bouncy supercharges and is used by some pros but it takes time and someone would probably be trying to kill you. One thing you should be aware of is Edgar. He supercharges over time and probably will jump on you and kill you. So stay out of Edgar's jump range. Robo Retreat is great at Brawl Ball with Max because if Max uses her hypercharge and super near you and you are below 40% hp, then you can rush to their net and score. This combo is better with El Primo because if you use Meteor Rush, Hypercharge and Speed Gear, you become a really fast tank. Overall, Robo Retreat is better than Super BouncyGear 1, Damage Gear:The Damage Gear makes you deal 15% more damage when below 50% of your hp. You might think the Damage Buff is small but sometimes, it can win you matches. Combined with Robo Retreat, you are a faster and stronger Rico below 40% percent. This is great in Knockout, Wipeout or Bounty because you get stronger and you can snipe people. Just don't get overconfident and rush to them; you will probably die. Instead, stay back so they enemy can't reach you and pick them off one by one. Just DO NOT get cornered; It gives short-ranged brawlers an advantage because usually they have more hp and are stronger.
This is why Damage Gear is the first gear you should pick.Gear 2, Reload Gear:The Reload Gear makes your normal attack, Bouncing Bullets,15% faster to reload. It makes Rico even more viable because he already has a fast reload time. With this gear, your reload will be literally as fast as Charlie's attack, (It's really fast) only better. The Reload Gear can actually save your life in a game. Imagine this: You are one hit away from dying but they are one hit away from dying. Your Reload Gear gives you an edge as you get your attack and win, earning you enough credits to get a legendary brawler (which probably won't happen but still, it might). You are basically a long-ranged brawler with a fast reload time, which will give you an advantage in Knockout specifically. Combined with the other things in this build, you are a long-ranged brawler that can shoot all directions three times, faster below 40% hp, stronger below 50% hp and a fast reload time (which means you are cracked at some modes that I will put in this build later. This is what you should use if you are playing Rico.Tips and Tricks:
You thought I was going to end there? Well, you always have to have tips in tricks to make the brawler even more viable then before. Some T+T include:- Use Multiball Launcher when you know someone is in the grass to lure them out
- In Knockout, get below 50% hp to deal more damage but do NOT get cornered
- Use the walls to your advantage; to ward of incoming threats, etc.
